SISTEM MONITORING ENERGI LISTRIK LAMPU PENERANGAN BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT)
Abstract
The public square in the Pengasinan neighborhood of Rawalumbu, Bekasi, is used by residents for sports activities, community meetings, religious activities, and various events, especially in the afternoon and evening. However, the lighting system is still manually operated and lacks real-time monitoring of electricity consumption, which can lead to energy waste and delays in detecting disturbances. This community service activity aims to implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based electricity monitoring system for lighting and increase public understanding of efficient electricity use. The activity methods include site observation, system design, device assembly, installation, testing, outreach, and handover to the field manager. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller, a ZMPT101B voltage sensor, an ACS712 current sensor, an LCD module, and an outdoor panel to measure voltage, current, power, and electrical energy. The results of the activity showed that the monitoring device and lighting were successfully installed at two points, namely the light point and the control panel. The system can display electricity parameters in real time, helping managers monitor electricity usage more practically. The outreach also increased managers' and residents' understanding of energy monitoring, installation safety, and routine maintenance. This system supports more efficient, transparent, and data-based management of public facilities.
Lapangan umum di lingkungan Pengasinan, Rawalumbu, Bekasi, digunakan warga untuk kegiatan olahraga, pertemuan masyarakat, kegiatan keagamaan, dan berbagai acara terutama pada sore hingga malam hari. Namun, sistem penerangan masih dioperasikan secara manual dan belum memiliki pemantauan konsumsi energi listrik secara real time, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan pemborosan energi dan keterlambatan deteksi gangguan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan menerapkan sistem monitoring energi listrik lampu penerangan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) serta meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai penggunaan energi listrik yang efisien. Metode kegiatan meliputi observasi lokasi, perancangan sistem, perakitan perangkat, pemasangan instalasi, pengujian, sosialisasi, dan serah terima kepada pengelola lapangan. Sistem menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32, sensor tegangan ZMPT101B, sensor arus ACS712, modul LCD, dan panel luar ruang untuk membaca tegangan, arus, daya, serta energi listrik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa perangkat monitoring dan lampu penerangan berhasil dipasang pada dua titik, yaitu titik lampu dan panel kontrol. Sistem dapat menampilkan parameter listrik secara real time sehingga membantu pengelola memantau penggunaan listrik secara lebih praktis. Sosialisasi yang dilakukan juga meningkatkan pemahaman pengelola dan warga terkait monitoring energi, keselamatan instalasi, serta perawatan rutin.
