PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA, PASSION KERJA, DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KEINGINAN UNTUK BERTAHAN DALAM ORGANISASI

Abstract


Efforts to maintain the workforce are critical and significant because the high employee turnover rate will be an ongoing problems especially if the workforce is a skilled employee and needed for the organization. This study aims to see whether the variables of job satisfaction, job passion, or motivation can affect the level of employee desire to stay in the organization either partially or simultaneously (together). The test was conducted at a private university in Bekasi Regency. Data were collected using a non-probability sampling method with a saturated sample technique of 60 employees. Testing uses data that has been tested valid and reliable and analyzed using SPSS V.23 software. The results showed that only the job satisfaction variable partially had a significant effect on the level of intention to stay. Variables of job passion and motivation do not have a significant effect. However, these three variables can simultaneously have a significant influence on employees' intention to stay in the organization.

Upaya untuk mempertahankan tenaga kerja menjadi hal yang sangat penting dan signifikan karena tingkat pergantian karyawan yang tinggi akan menjadi masalah yang terus berkelanjutan apalagi bila tenaga kerja tersebut merupakan karyawan yang terampil dan dibutuhkan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah variabel kepuasan kerja, passion kerja, atau motivasi dapat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat keinginan karyawan untuk bertahan pada organisasi baik secara parsial maupun simultan (bersama-sama). Pengujian dilakukan di sebuah perguruan tinggi swasta di Kabupaten Bekasi. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel non-probality sampling dengan teknik sampel jenuh terhadap 60 karyawan. Pengujian menggunakan data yang telah diuji secara valid dan reliabel serta dianalisa dengan menggunakan software SPSS V.23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel kepuasan kerja secara parsial memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat keinginan untuk bertahan. Sedangkan variabel passion kerja dan motivasi tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan. Namun demikian, ketiga variabel ini secara simultan dapat memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap keinginan karyawan untuk bertahan pada organisasi.
