Author Guidelines
Artikel belum pernah dipublikasikan di media lain dan tidak mengandung unsur plagiarisme lebih dari 20%. Artikel harus melampirkan surat pernyataan penulis.
Artikel merupakan hasil penelitian, konseptual (independen), aplikasi teori, laporan kasus, atau resensi buku. Artikel dapat ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa Inggris kurang lebih 6-12 halaman termasuk daftar pustaka dan tabel. Artikel ditulis dengan komputer pada kertas ukuran A4 dengan margin atas dan kiri 4 cm; dan margin kanan bawah 3 cm. Jenis huruf yang digunakan Time New Roman ukuran 12. Spasi 1.
Judul ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia maksimal 15 kata dan bahasa Inggris maksimal 13 kata (contoh judul dapat dilihat pada template jurnal).
Artikel harus mencantumkan nama penulis. Urutan nama beberapa penulis harus disetujui oleh penulis pertama, kedua, dan seterusnya. Urutan biasanya didasarkan pada kontribusi penulis dan semua penulis bertanggung jawab atas isi artikel. Nama penulis ditulis tebal dengan font Times New Roman ukuran 12 (contoh judul dapat dilihat pada template jurnal).
Artikel harus melampirkan alamat surat penulis koresponden. Alamat penulis koresponden ditulis dengan huruf Times New Roman ukuran 12 tanpa bold dan italic.
Artikel harus dilampirkan dengan ABSTRACT dalam bahasa Inggris dan ABSTRAK dalam bahasa Indonesia. Kata ABSTRACT dan ABSTRAK maksimal 200 (dua ratus) kata dalam bentuk essay yang terdiri dari tujuan penelitian, metode penelitian, dan hasil penelitian. Dilampirkan dengan kata kunci (3 sampai 5 kata). Jenis huruf Times new Toman ukuran 12 dan spasi 1. Kata ABSTRACT dalam bahasa Inggris dan ABSTRAK dalam bahasa Indonesia ditulis dengan huruf Times new Roman ukuran 12 dengan huruf tebal.
Artikel harus terdiri dari PENDAHULUAN/INTRODUCTION, METODE PENELITIAN/RESEARCH METHODS, HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN/RESULT AND DISCUSSION, PENUTUP/CONCLUSION, dan DAFTAR PUSTAKA/BIBLIOGRAPHY. PENDAHULUAN, PEMBAHASAN, KESIMPULAN, dan DAFTAR PUSTAKA ditulis dengan huruf kapital dengan huruf Times New Roman ukuran 12 dengan bold.
PENDAHULUAN harus ditulis dalam format MS dengan font Times New Roman ukuran 12 dengan 1 spasi. Ini harus terdiri dari 2 halaman. Isinya terdiri dari latar belakang masalah penelitian. Pendahuluan cenderung ke beberapa buku sebagai referensi penelitian atau dasar, dan juga berisi pengetahuan masa kini. Tinjauan pustaka sebaiknya tidak ditulis sebagai bagian terpisah dari pendahuluan. Artinya, tinjauan pustaka termasuk dalam PENDAHULUAN. Referensi harus primer, relevan, dan referensi terkini. Tinjauan pustaka tidak boleh terlalu luas disesuaikan dengan topik artikel. Perlu diperhatikan artikel untuk Jurnal Kompleksitas sebaiknya tidak mencantumkan catatan kaki karena dapat mengganggu konsentrasi pembaca.
METODE PENELITIAN harus ditulis dalam format MS dengan font Times New Roman ukuran 12 dengan 1 spasi. Itu harus terdiri
hipotesis (bila ada), tujuan penelitian, dan metode penelitian. Metode penelitian yang dituliskan dalam artikel terdiri dari objek dan subjek penelitian; dan harus dijelaskan secara rinci. Sedangkan metode mengacu pada prosedur standar, standar harus dilampirkan.
PEMBAHASAN harus ditulis dengan 1 spasi. Sistematika isi harus terdiri dari data/ informasi yang berkaitan dengan tujuan penelitian, tabel harus dalam format yang sederhana dan terbuka; dan juga gambar peta harus fokus pada objek yang diteliti. Ukuran file tidak boleh terlalu besar dan rumit (formatnya harus .jpg). Tabel dan gambar harus konsisten dan harus diberi nomor. PEMBAHASAN bertujuan agar penulis mengapresiasi hasil penelitian; dan batas penelitian. Mengutip kutipan yang ditulis dalam Times New Roman ukuran 12 (Gambar dan contoh tabel dapat dilihat pada template jurnal).
KESIMPULAN terdiri dari landasan pembahasan penjelasan singkat. Itu juga harus menyebutkan rekomendasi termasuk dalam kesimpulan. Artinya rekomendasi tidak berdiri sendiri
DAFTAR PUSTAKA dapat berasal dari berbagai sumber: buku, dokumen, tesis, disertasi, surat kabar, jurnal, dan internet. Pada dasarnya bibliografi Jurnal Kompleksitas disarankan menggunakan aplikasi manajemen, misalnya bibliografi dengan Mendeley, Zetero, dan Endnote.
(a) Penulis harus mengutip kutipan Jurnal Kompleksitas minimal 3 kutipan.
(b) Daftar pustaka harus ditulis menurut abjad dalam satu spasi dan tanpa nomor.
(c) Daftar pustaka yang ditulis dalam daftar pustaka adalah yang digunakan sebagai referensi dan dikutip dalam artikel. Dengan kata lain, kutipan dalam artikel harus dituliskan dalam daftar pustaka, begitu pula sebaliknya.

The article is the result of research, conceptual (independent), theory application, case report, or book review. The article could be written in Indonesian or English approximately 6-12 pages including bibliography and table. The article should be written with computer on A4 size paper with top and left margins 4 centimeters; and right bottom margins 3 centimeters. The font in used should be Time New Roman size 12. The space should be at 1. The title should be written in Indonesian maximum 15 words and in English maximum 13 words (title sample could be seen on journal template).
The article has to enclose the author/s name. Multiple authors name order should be agreed by the first, second, and so forth author. The order is usually base on the author’s contribution and all authors are responsible to the article content. The author name should be written in bold with 12 size font Times New Roman (title sample could be seen on journal template).
The article has to enclose the correspondece author mail address. The correspondece author address should be written in 12 size font Times New Roman without bold and italic.
The article has to enclose with ABSTRACT in English language and ABSTRAK in Indonesian language. The maximum words for ABSTRACT and ABSTRAK are 200 (two hundreds) in essay form consists of research purpose, research method, and research result. It should be enclosed with keywords (3 to 5 words). The font is Times new Toman in 12 size and space 1. The word ABSTRACT in English language should be written and ABSTRAK IN Indonesian language with Time new Roman font in size 12. The ABSTRACT word should be written with bold.
The article should consist of PENDAHULUAN/INTRODUCTION, METODE PENELITIAN/RESEARCH METHODS, HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN/RESULT AND DISCUSSION, PENUTUP/CONCLUSION, dan DAFTAR PUSTAKA/BIBLIOGRAPHY. The INTRODUCTION, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, and BIBLIOGRAPHY have to be written in capital with Times New Roman font size 12 in bold.
The INTRODUCTION has to be written in MS format with Times New Roman font size 12 with 1 spaces. It should consist of 2 pages. The contents consist of research problem background. The introduction is inclined to several books as research reference or basic, and also consists of present time knowledge. Literature review should not be written as separate part of the introduction. It means the literature review is included in INTRODUCTION. The reference should be primary, relevant, and current reference. The literature review should not be too extensive meaning its scope is not too large. Need to be concerned the article for Kompleksitas Journal should not enclose footnote due to its ability to disturb reader’s concentration.
The RESEARCH METHODS has to be written in MS format with Times New Roman font size 12 with 1 spaces. It should consist
hypothesis (if available), research purpose, and research method. The research methods written in the article consist of research object and subject; and should be described in details. Whereas the method refers to standard procedure the standard should be enclosed.
DISCUSSION has to be written with 1 spaces. The systematic contents should consist of data/ information related to research purpose, the table should be in simple and open format; and also the map picture should be focusing on studied object. The file size should not be too large and complicated (the format should be in .jpg). The table and picture should be consistent and have to be numbered. The purpose of DISCUSSION is finding author appreciate the research result; and the border of the research. CONCLUSION consists of the discussion foundation short explanation. It should also mention recommendation included in conclusion. It means recommendation does not stand-alone
BIBLIOGRAPHY may come various sources: books, documents, theses, dissertations, newspaper, journal, and internet. Basically the Kompleksitas Journal bibliography is advisable to use management applications, for example bibliography with Mendeley, Zetero, and Endnote.
(a) The author has to quote Kompleksitas Journal citation with minimum 3 quotations.
(b) The bibliography has to be written alphabetically in one space and without number.
(c) The bibliographies written in the bibliography list are the ones used as references and quoted in the article. In other word, the quotation in the article should be written in the bibliography, and vice versa.
(d) Whereas the bibliography was written by multiple authors, the written author’s name is the last name, followed by first name and middle name (if exist). Then, it is followed by publishing year, book title, Publishing location, and publisher name.
(e) Whereas the bibliography was written by more than two authors, the first author’s name should be written according to point (c) followed by the second author and so forth. The second and so forth author’s name should be reversed as the first author.
(f) The bibliography should not use et al. to replace the second author and so forth.
(g) The bibliography writing is different with one another depending on the cited bibliographical type. The author’s name, publishing location, and publisher’s name are not in italic. The italic written words are: (1) book or document’s title (for book and document); (2) thesis word, dissertation word, newspaper name, journal’s name, website address; whereas thesis title, dissertation title, newspaper article title, internet article title should be written ordinary and put between quotation mark (Bibliography author sample could be seen on journal template).
