PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN, KOMPETENSI STAF DAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASI TERHADAP PENERAPAN MANAJEMEN RISIKO KEFARMASIAN DI RSAU DR ESNAWAN ANTARIKSA
Abstract
Pharmaceutical risk management is a fundamental aspect of the healthcare system, particularly due to the increasing complexity of drug services in hospitals and pharmaceutical service facilities. Implementing risk management in hospital pharmacies is crucial to ensuring drug availability, patient safety, and operational efficiency. Surveys and interviews with pharmacy staff and patients revealed that several incidents related to the implementation of pharmaceutical risk management still occur. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, staff competence, and organizational commitment on the implementation of pharmaceutical risk management, and to examine the indirect influence of leadership and staff competence on this implementation through organizational commitment as a mediator. The study used an associative, quantitative approach, collecting data via questionnaires and structured interviews. Data were analyzed using path analysis techniques. The sample was determined using saturated sampling/total sampling of a population of 60 IFRS staff members at Dr. Esnawan Antariksa. The results of the study found that (1) leadership does not have a direct and significant effect on organizational commitment; (2) Staff competence has a direct and significant effect on organizational commitment; (3) Leadership has a direct and significant positive effect on the implementation of pharmaceutical risk management. (4) Staff competence does not have a direct and significant effect on the implementation of risk management; (5) Organizational commitment does not have a direct and significant effect on the implementation of pharmaceutical risk management; (6) The indirect effect of leadership on the implementation of pharmaceutical risk management through the mediation of organizational commitment produces results that are not significant; (7) The indirect effect of staff competence on the implementation of pharmaceutical risk management through the mediation of organizational commitment produces results that are not significant. The implications of this study provide empirical evidence on how HRM and risk management theories apply in military organizations, especially military hospitals, which have unique cultures, hierarchies, and value systems.
