PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DAN BUDAYA ORGANISASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI
Abstract
Human resources are a primary factor in organisational success, reflected in employee performance. PT Palapa Timur Telematika’s 2023 performance report indicates that the company's targets were not fully achieved. This study aims to analyse the influence of transformational leadership and organisational culture on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This research uses a quantitative, associative approach, with data collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire. The population comprises all active employees at PT Palapa Timur Telematika, and the data are analysed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Performance issues are suspected to be influenced by a non-empowering leadership style. This organisational culture does not fully support collaboration and innovation, and low job satisfaction due to a lack of recognition and communication. The results are expected to provide strategic recommendations regarding the application of transformational leadership, strengthening organisational culture, and increasing job satisfaction to support employee performance.
Sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor utama yang menentukan keberhasilan organisasi dan tercermin melalui kinerja karyawan. Laporan kinerja PT Palapa Timur Telematika tahun 2023 menunjukkan bahwa target perusahaan belum sepenuhnya tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner berskala Likert. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan aktif PT Palapa Timur Telematika, dengan analisis menggunakan Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Permasalahan kinerja diduga dipengaruhi gaya kepemimpinan yang kurang memberdayakan, budaya organisasi yang belum sepenuhnya mendukung kolaborasi dan inovasi, serta tingkat kepuasan kerja yang rendah akibat kurangnya penghargaan maupun komunikasi. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi strategis terkait penerapan kepemimpinan transformasional, penguatan budaya organisasi, serta peningkatan kepuasan kerja guna mendukung kinerja karyawan.
