PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI UNTUK PENYEWAAN JASA FOTOGRAFI BERBASIS WEB PADA APPA PROJECT

Abstract

APPA Project is a company engaged in photography services. To compete with other companies, Appa Project must be able to utilize the development of information technology. The current problem is that the processing of photography service order data that is currently running is less effective because it is performed manually, causing the accumulation of orders that are not read, the reports cannot be submitted on time, archiving uses a lot of paper, is not coordinated with the photographer, and documents are easily lost and damaged. The research purpose is to create an application system for ordering photography services that can make order reports accurately and on time and create a secure and neat documentation and archive system to prevent unwanted things. The research uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the Waterfall approach. The results are in the form of a photography service rental information system that is designed to be integrated using internet technology so that information obtained in the form of prices and photo packages available at the company is easily obtained by consumers. The new system also allows consumers to place orders online. The system was implemented using PHP programming language and MySQL database.

APPA Project merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang jasa fotografi, agar Appa Project dapat bersaing dengan perusahaan lainnya maka harus mampu memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi informasi. Permasalahan saat ini pengolahan data pemesanan jasa Fotografi yang sedang berjalan kurang efektif, karena  masih dikelola secara manual sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya penumpukan pesanan yang tidak terbaca, laporan yang diminta tidak dapat diserahkan tepat waktu, pengarsipan menggunakan banyak kertas, tidak terkoordinasi dengan photographer, dan dokumen mudah hilang dan rusak. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk membuat sebuah sistem aplikasi pemesanan jasa Fotografi yang dapat membuat laporan pemesanan secara akurat dan tepat waktu dan membuat sistem dokumentasi dan arsip yang aman dan rapih untuk mencegah hal yang tidak diinginkan. Penelitian menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan pendekatan Waterfall. Hasil penelitian berupa sistem informasi penyewaan jasa fotografi yang dirancang terintegrasi secara baik dengan menggunakan teknologi internet sehingga informasi yang didapat berupa harga dan paket foto yang terdapat pada perusahaan mudah didapatkan oleh konsumen. Sistem baru juga memungkinkan konsumen melakukan pesanan secara daring. Sistem diimplemntasikan dengan mengunakan bahasa pemograman PHP dan basis data MySQL.
